The heart of the city

The Prinzipalmarkt brings all of Münster together. So it seemed only natural to name our largest and most elegant apartment the “Prinzipal”. Delft tiles, historic sandstone elements and a vast transom window facade emphasize its proximity to the center of Münster. The apartment has an open bedroom with a double bed and large closet. The spacious living and eating area has plenty of space for a fully equipped kitchenette, a seating area, a corner sofa bed that sleeps two extra people and a chair that can also be opened out into a single bed. The bathroom features a toilet and a floor-level shower.
Kitchen and dining area

A majestic delight

Use the fully equipped kitchenette to prepare a hearty meal with your freshly purchased ingredients. Even on holiday, you will have everything you need; a stove with a baking oven, microwave function and hood, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, and a Nespresso machine with hand filter. A coffee machine is available upon request. Naturally, you will also find a variety of herbs and spices, plenty of cutlery, an electric kettle, and a toaster. The inviting seating area with space for up to five people is the perfect spot to enjoy your meal or make plans for the days ahead.

Taking a break in relaxing surroundings

The living room is definitely the heart of our “Prinzipal” apartment. A corner sofa bed that sleeps two extra people provides plenty of space to sit back and relax. A comfortable chair – which can also be opened out into a single bed – is the perfect spot to chill out with a good book and a glass of wine. And, of course, the desk provides you with somewhere to write your postcards.

Relaxing in style

Decorated with sandstone elements, the bathroom also evokes Münster’s Prinzipalmarkt. It is fitted with a floor-level shower and a toilet. During your stay, we will of course provide you with towels and personal care products.
Sleeping area

Relaxing in regal style

Whatever part of Münster you plan to explore next, you’ll need plenty of sleep to recharge your batteries. The open bedroom features a comfortable double bed. Blackout curtains ensure the sun won’t wake you at the crack of dawn. The large closet provides plenty of space for your luggage.

Bringing Münster together

In the center of the old town, the Prinzipalmarkt brings all of Münster together. The gables and archways of the old merchant houses dominate the architecture of the marketplace. These houses bear silent witness to the city’s eventful history:

feel and touch the legacy of the Hanseatic League, the Anabaptist kingdom of Münster and the European powers’ negotiations to end the Thirty Years’ War with the Peace of Westphalia.

But the marketplace isn’t just for history buffs. Most of the shops around the square are still owned by long-established Münster merchants. It’s definitely worth a visit!
